About

Hello, I'm Eda.

I graduated from the Department of Psychology at Acıbadem University, and completed my master's degree in clinical psychology at Istanbul Kent University with a thesis on schemas, psychological resilience and coping with stress. Grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy, I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples.

At the foundation of my clinical work is the 4-year international (EABCT-standard) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training I received at the Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies. The standards set by the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) require, alongside comprehensive theoretical training, case work carried out under supervision and extensive practical experience. This means learning CBT not through a short certificate programme, but within an internationally recognised framework and under supervision. For you, it means that methods whose effectiveness has been demonstrated by scientific research are applied within a structured, measurable therapy process grounded in ethical principles.

All questions

The first session is an introductory and assessment session. We talk about your reasons for seeking help, your life story and your expectations, and plan together how the therapy process will unfold.

Individual sessions usually last 50 minutes and are most often scheduled weekly. The frequency is decided together, according to your needs and the stage of the process.

Duration varies according to the reason for seeking help, your goals and personal circumstances. Progress is reviewed together through regular assessments throughout the process.
